Starting and running a paddle business is quite new. But as the padel makes its entrance, experience is also built up, and that creates development, even if you, like JuBo Padel, which has
installed padelcourts since 1998 and has manufactured and assembled over 1,400 tracks. Here we have gathered some tips and advice:
-
Prepare the delivery It is important to think about and plan how to get the courses into the hall. An opening/gate of at
least 3.5x3.5m is required. Once the tracks are in place, you can manage with a smaller opening/gate. Most suppliers require that you receive the delivery yourself. In many cases, a car with
a crane is required to lift off, above all, the glass sections. And a truck to move the stuff so that it stands in the middle of the court. Check with your supplier about what applies when
unloading. Please don't hesitate to use our Support if you have any doubts.
-
It is important that the surface is even/levelled. Also make sure that the base is even/levelled,
because the ball bounce will never be better than the condition of the base. The playing field can never compensate for uneven ground. And it costs a lot more money to fix afterwards than
before the installation .. So make sure it is even and if you are unsure, contact a flooring company that works with float filling, which can advise you in the best way what you should do to
get an even surface. As for cases, FIP (International Padel Federation) allows certain cases. You can find the rules that apply in FIP Regulations for Padel, which you can follow by
contacting JuBo Padel.
-
Electrical installation Remember to always hire a qualified electrician to do and be responsible for all electrical
installations. The supplier sets up the lighting, but you as the customer are responsible for switching it on. Saving on electrical safety can be a stupid saving. Always the customer's safety
first.
-
Recycling Remember that the Supplier leaves behind packaging, so make sure you have a plan for how
this is recycled locally in an environmentally friendly way.
-
Cleaning before opening Do not forget to plan so that the tracks are freshly cleaned when opening; the windows were
plastered, the construction dust-dried etc. It is important that the players get a good impression when they visit your paddle mecca for the first time.
-
Supervison the work with the foundation Remember to lay cable ducts at least 150mm into the ground if you are
putting concrete. Many people put the cables into the base to avoid having visible cables. If you are building a padel venue existing premises, think about how you can most easily, best and
most nicely pull the cables to the lighting poles.

Build your own indoor padelcenter? Get help from companies that previously built padelcenters and / or talk to owners of
padel halls and take in their advice, tips and experience.
-
Optimize daytime income Schools are an interesting target group for creating visits and daytime income. One way to make
more efficient use of a padelcourt is to install an adjustable net (this we at JuBo Padel can of course deliver) that can be used for both padel and volleyball. Just volleyball is a school
activity that is popular and that is well suited for a padelcourt.
-
Single court? If you do not have room for another padelcourt (which has the dimensions approx. 20.6x10.6m) then maybe
you can fit a single course (with the outer dimensions 20.6x6.6m). Excellent as a technology course, appreciated among friends and couples who sometimes find it difficult to get 4 people
together, good for training with smaller groups of children and good for children / juniors to get acquainted with the ball, racket, net and walls.
